The Founder’s Journal
By Kimberly Brophy, Founder of Naked Glow
Running a business has made me appreciate the value of simplicity.
There is always another task, another email or another decision waiting. That is why I want skincare to feel like an enjoyable part of the day, with products that are easy to understand and use.
When we introduced Naked Glow skincare, one of my priorities was to make the range feel approachable. I wanted customers to understand where each product belonged in their routine, rather than feel they needed to buy everything at once.
A morning routine I like to share starts with three products: Ultra Glow Essence Toner, RegenaCell Peptide Serum and Lumi Veil Mineral SPF 50.
My Three-Step Morning Routine
-
Ultra Glow Essence Toner
After cleansing, the toner is the first step. -
RegenaCell Peptide Serum
Next comes RegenaCell. -
Lumi Veil Mineral SPF 50
Follow with SPF, applied according to the directions on the packaging.
There is something satisfying about having a clear order and knowing what comes next. It makes a routine easier to repeat, particularly on busy mornings.
Of course, skincare is personal. Some people love taking their time with several steps; others want to keep things very streamlined. I want Naked Glow to offer products that customers can choose according to their own preferences.
My advice as a founder is to start with a routine you can comfortably maintain. Get familiar with the products, read the instructions and give yourself space to understand how your skin responds.
You do not need to turn your bathroom into a beauty counter overnight.
For me, “skincare made simple” is a practical promise: clear products, clear instructions and a routine that fits into real life.
